I can email you the list (RM) if you like.  ;)

Although I think I shouldn't since is so close to CNY and all ....

Regard
Tyler

I've never dared even think abt getting a new PP up to now.. :Blue:

All this PP talk suddenly cropped up very recently by pure coincidence after your post and also the MWF Dinner where you brought your PP for all to drool over… ???

Since I dare not step into the PP boutique, perhaps u can pm me the US site where d prices are listed for me to get a feel of the damage to be expected....u were saying multiply d listed price by 3.5?

Don't worry abt me... I don't have enough cash right now to buy and not enough time to sell several of my current less favoured ones to fund any PP.  :'(

Nice piece. I did not get to see the blue dial so I'm still sold on the white.

Why did you break up with her?

That's exactly the reason I told Primus & co that night why I never dared step into the PP boutique....
I only have a vague idea...
I assumed that since Primus's PP is solid gold and has complications, it shld be way higher than the simple 2 handed Nautilus.. (I asked Primus the price of his)...Isn't the Nautilus just slightly over the base 6 figures..

JOS2012, the SA at the Suria KLCC is a very "dangerous" person.

She insisted on me trying on this 5980 even though I specifically said I only want to see the 5711. After I succumb to her offer, she was then trying to persuade me to look at the Annual and Perpetual Calendars that she has in the safe  :o ... which I luckily declined. I don't need more temptations and diversions now  :-\

It's quite safe to visit if you keep your credit cards and cheque book at home..

 :Laughing_on_floor:

Now that I've tried the 5980, it lingers in my mind...

my boss went to frankfurt but left his 5980 in the office...

Since he doesn't wear it often, would he like to sell it to me??

aquanaut is targeted at the younger folks.

Yes.. it does look that way. I do feel that Patek deliberately made the bracelet look funky and the dial and hands a little weird while still keeping the PP look. Could be that they did not want it to usurp the sales for the higher priced models and keep the traditional PP collector happy that there isn't a "cheap" Patek that looks like the Nautilus. Hence, the best Aquanaut would be one on a rubber strap.

Wow Donald

Having taken a serious look at both your models, i'm shocked to find out the 5980 and 5711 in terms of pricing is absolutely far apart!  what choices!

I know you'll hate me for this, but if you are considering the 5980, at that price for stainless steel, why don't you take a dip into the Complications Range as well and see what turns your fancy. May i be so bold as to recommend the 5396, which i know the KLCC branch has in stock. Its the same price for the 5980. Just something for you to consider.

The SA did ask if I would like to view and try on the Annual Calendar models.

Now maybe you'll hate me for this, but I remarked that if I was interested in a complication, I would rather have the Perpetual Calendar models instead of an Annual. She commented about collecting PP from the basic complications and I told her if I had a Perpetual, would I still bother with an Annual?

Anyway, I wouldn't get to use a dress watch as often as I would like to so I'm not into them at the moment... but the 5208P would make a very nice dress watch indeed won't you say? That's a dream at the moment...

5980 is PP with complication. But no doubt that if you consider the material any nautilus is expensive be it 5711, 5712, 5726 or 5980. Someone tried to swim and 'dive in' swimming pool with 5980 so you are safe to use it for swimming.  :Laughing_on_floor:

Well, aquanut just looks ugly to me. No offence. It wont stop you too even if you buy it. U will end up buying nautilus eventually.  :)

Also, dont rule out ROO quick, especially diver. Let me poison you.

People in this forum preferrer RO over ROO, but size wise ROO is not really bigger than RO. When you place one to the other one, you will like ROO more than RO. But if you pick ROO chrono, try to change to a diver strap as they are really comfortable,

More poison released on nautilus. I have tried on almost every model and color on natilus actually.

I had tried on both white and blue 5711. For me, it has to be the white one. Blue 5711 just looks too plain to me.

Are these all new or pre-owned.
Care to pm me on which outlet you saw this piece and how much its going for.
Thanks.

in reply to IWCKing..

The new AP 15400 dial face is about the same size as the ROO. That's why I prefer the 15300. I've tried on the ROO many times and still can't quite pull the trigger.

I also agree the white 5711 is the nicer dial. The 5980 in white is also nice but the dial face doesn't look balanced to me but maybe in time....  The 5712 do nothing for me at the moment.

And yes, a merchant is selling lower than retail.
Contrary to "ppl who look for PP Nautilus do not ask for discount, they ask if there's stock" thing I heard in Taipei, this seems like a deal of the century... what are you waiting for?

More poisons to enable you to speed up your decision making process.  :Laughing_on_floor:

5726-1A black dial.

5711 blue dial. But I preferred white over blue for 5711.

RO dual time.

Or you may even want to consider go straight for 5960p.

I still find the 5711 the nicest of all.

My apologies to all who love/own the Annual Calendars....  :P
