There are a few watches that have been on my mind but in order to finalise a "2013 wishlist", I had to find them and try them on for size and view them in real life before deciding on a target for 2013. When the opportunity came for a trip to KL to attend the MWF anniversary dinner, I knew this was the best time to kill two birds with one stone. Below are pictures taken at the various ADs and boutiques.

I find myself strangely attracted to chronographs. The 26320 is too large for me mainly because of the lugs. I find it overly large on my wrist although the larger dial makes the chrono counters less cluttered. The panda dial 26300 is really nice in pictures and the silver surface is even more enticing in person. It really sparkles as the watch is moved in the light. The downside is that the "bling" makes the dial somewhat difficult to read. But who wears a watch to tell time right?

As I've never been a fan of black dials, I was quite surprised that I somehow liked this dial over the silver panda. The white hands on the black dial was a perfect contrast.

The letdown was the old style clasp on the 26300.

This black dial 15300 had the upgraded clasp, similar to the ones on the 15400. The SA told me there is one blue dial in the safe on hold for a customer but if I wanted it, it's first-come-first-served. Very little discount. He offered to show me but I declined as I am still undecided. The SA gave me a nice catalogue to bring home and let the poison sink in.
Next stop..

The 5167 on bracelet. I had wanted to try one with the rubber strap but they didn't have it. The dial is beautiful and my heart skipped a beat. Somehow, this almost felt like
THE ONE
But I wanted to try the 5711 first. The SA also gave me a nice catalogue as well. This was at the Fahrenheit AD and the SA told me they're closing down the PP section and moving it to Suria KLCC by the end of the month. I asked if there was a closing down sale

and she said no..

So off I went to KLCC and tried this..

They did not have the 5711 in stock but they had this. I was told it was the same as the 5711 except it's slightly thicker to accommodate the chrono movement. The dial is the same minus the chrono counter. I know everyone says the blue is the best but somehow, I am seriously attracted to the white. And this has the chrono which I like in a watch, but I feel the plain 5711 has a more balanced dial.
Now the problem is that I really would like an AP first, but the PP wear so much better on my wrist size...
Thanks for reading and I still haven't got an answer on which one
