Thank you all for your kind words & well wishes..I didn't know buying a watch could elicit such response…

Instead of taking too much space quoting each of you, I'll just summarise here..
When I went to our neigbouring country, I was only aware of the biggest AD who had stock of both the stainless steel and ceramic GO Perpetual. Unfortunately whilst I was targeting the ceramic, it was 2 mm smaller than the SS and I didn't quite like the look of the hands.. besides it was close to RM 18K (net price mind you)

more just because of the ceramic case. The Sales Mgr also dissuaded me from buying the ceramic but thats beside the point.
After visiting all the GO ADs there was only 1 other shop that carried the GO Perp. So I bought from the 2nd shop as he gave me a better price.
Everlasting joy is very relative…I guess based on the damage to my pocket , I'd better be in love with it a bit longer than my other watches…
Regarding winders, I have 2 Orbitas but I do not leave my watches on them permanently. I let the winder run overnight once every fortnight and then shut it down.
The great thing abt the GO Perp is that there are separate push buttons for day, date, month, moonphase. Once the calendar is set correctly, in the event the watch is left not running and it is days/weeks behind, there is 1 master button that advances all the 4 items at the same time so you only need to advance the master button, not all the 4 individual buttons.

Real WIS spirit??… my wife begs to differ …she says I'm a lunatic..foregoing meals, flying up and down within a few hours.. being up 24 hrs non-stop...all for a watch… a piece of metal that happens to tell time….
who am I to argue...
