As great as their watches maybe .. i always felt that they are the Nike of luxury watches... pays too much endorsement to sell. I can't help but feel i am paying for them to advertise if i buy one of their watches.

Good article. Thanks for sharing the link. So it seems that the Swatch Group practice of price control may actually contravene Australian laws. They've already found guilty of breaching competition law by the Danish Court.
Apparently the practice of price control by coercion is not so uncommon here in Malaysia. From conversations with ADs, not only Omega is guilty of this, but other big names also maintain the same practice. I wonder if Malaysia has any competition law to protect us poor consumers. Any lawyers here who would like to share their views?

Personally I think TAG probably deserves the honours more than Omega.
But on an absolute basis the brand with the highest advert budget is indusputably Rolex, based on the North American figures published in Watchtime magazine.
