I am not too sure - you called it mid range. But my seiko orange monster just did all that.

I am almost a recovered watchaholic, but last checked shows only 70% recovered. How?

A RM300-500 Gshock is all you need.
If its broken, throw and buy another.

any preference/criteria? would help in narrowing down the options..

1. size
2. movement (auto/quartz)
3. type (analog/digital/analaog +digital)
4. material
5. price range
etc......

I am good here.

For 1-2k, there are many lying around as suggested by the members.
Throw in a little bit and get a Tag formula series. Look tough and with a piece of actions.

i am not sure about toughness of the Tag F1... i think a orange monster would be a better deal compared to the F1. i have seen my friend's rubber bits on the side peeling off slightly.

or go all the way and get a 14060

For active outdoor activities... budget wise I would go for G-Shocks.
Abit higher will be Tissot T-Touch, Sea-Touch and whatever touch that they have...  ;D
Solidly built for outdoors.
Mechanical? Damasko is the only one I trust.
Higher still? Rolex Sub... lol
I remembered someone climbed mount kinabalu with a sub strapped on his wrists...  :shocked1:

Siodee: A/S/L is my line bro!!!!! >:( ;D

I'm sure to bring back my Polar M71ti titanium from overseas. It's actually a heart monitor, but it's tough as nails and looks the part. They've come up with a newer model, but I much prefer the previous one.

I'm surprised Sid Vicious hasn't come across the watch while doing spring cleaning at my place.

So, in the nutshell, the finer things in life does not have to be the most expensive or exotic item or place one could have.

Thank you Zitan....  ;)

On contrary I was wearing a Panerai while navigating a jeep in Tanzania at Ngorongoro Crater. My Pam survived the ordeal but I had to change the strap when I got back  :D ... So yea, I thought why not just get a cheap one since am going to scale Mount Kinabalu.
