You're right. We're trying to build a community here.

Here's my contribution.

What determine a watch as high end, low end or mid end. It usually gauge by the quality of the material use, the level craftmanship and sophistication of the design(both aesthetic and technical)

IMHO price is a not a good indicator whether the watch is high end or low end.

Look at Nomos, the only thing that's low end is the price. The rest is just as high end as the other brand.

like i said, "HISTORIC" is the word you are looking for.

collectors and enthusiasts don't like the word LOW-end, doesn't sound right.
especially when we collects all sorts of watches.

today marks the T-3 countdown to the PAM SG GTG! i surely hope to see a whole lot of "HISTORIC" pams on display  ;D
