The military are just like any business entity. Endorsement comes with a price. The sale of merchandise and licensing are part of their everyday operations. That is why u find stores selling Police, FD, Army, Marines etc.... Merchandise all over tourist destination in US.

Most of the funds gathered is to run the recruitment centres and awareness programs. Advertising slots are also sold in the AFN and other publications.

Pexus, it last for 2-3 years already. Well, at the middle of the night, I can read time easily. it doesnt fade after 40 minutes, unlike Pam and most other sport watch. As far as I am concerned, their light is quite consistent.

Up to 25 years. I am not very sure but i suspect they are using same technology as Ball. But few years back I couldnt find them in Msia though. Saw plenty of them in japan and HK. I ended up bought one in HK, less than rm700 for a special edition model. Only thing is the watch is quartz, which is the only quartz that i use occasionally.

cool...but can the lume intensity last over the night? I read somewhere that while it matches Ball in the beginning, it fades out faster.

i think i can answer your question, the lume intensity can and will remain constant at least for 10-12 years. All new ball watch uses T100 as oppose to T25 tritium in Luminox. There is some picture in WUS which shows the comparison between T25 n T100. Pm me if you want the link
My uncle has a Ball watch with T25 tritium, you can see the difference when compare to T100 but for me T25 is good enough to read the time in dark  :Dancing_banana:

Shawn Yue in a vintage sub in Love in a Buff. there's a closeup shot of the rivet bracelet with single clasp in the movie.

Notice that he's very much a Rolex fan with magazine and public appearance shots of him in different Rolex.

His weblog shows his collections

Weekend Canto movie marathon again. Spotted a few Rolex again.

Sometimes I wonder if these are the star's own watches.

Chapman To with what looks like a TT Sub

Jordan Chan with a Sub Date

From the era of "Big Brother Big Water Bottle Motorola"

Andy Lau giving some vintage love. But don't know if it's real. Never seen crown used as minute markers  ??? Anyone can confirm?

This is scene at the ending in The Lady. It looked like a Rolex. If it was not then this question would not be relevant. Was it Michelle Yeoh or Suu Kyi wearing a Rolex?

And it is a movie about struggle and sacrifice . I find this movie good to watch.

TV series Castle.

Female protagonist Det. Kate Beckett wears her father's Omega Speedmaster. Her valued posession.

Castle himself wears a Ball chronograph.
