I think RM50k and above is generally where the top end watches belonged.  You can say is nonsense to you but that's the way it is.  Value for money is another thing.  Likewise, owning a BMW or Merc may also nonsense because generally they cost much more than a Proton and the later can also take you from A to B.  

BTW, I like PP 5712/1A better too.

BMW and Merc its ok lah..but 50k just for a watch..emm..better buy house lah..haha.. house 1 year it may increase to 2% or 5%...if u buy patek..hard to resell..maybe its nothing for the rich la..but most of the time the rich is always being nonsense..rite..

I love the ppl who actually can and will spend money on the "crazy priced" top of the line watches.. because of them ppl like me can if lucky a couple of years later buy the same complications for a more reasonable price.. but if noone bought them to start with most of us would hafta dream about springdrive coaxial etc.. (I hope to be able to be one of those guys who buys a tourbillion movement in the future)

IMHO, PP5980/1A is nicer and the dial is not as cluttered as PP5712/1A. It'll be a simple, dressy/classy sports watch.

A. Lange is another one you should be checking out. 

bro, he is asking choose between pp model. if u giv him another choice then will b confusing him and end up he might lost. bt an option is oso nice. i suggest vacheron (vc) oso is a nice choice others than pp. :p
