I wouldn't engrave it. Who knows maybe one day you decided to get rid of it or pass it down to your children. It would just be weird to be wearing your parent's named watch hahaha

My advise is to engrave it if you know it's going to be with you forever. Makes it much more sentimental and personal.

But please make sure it's from someone who's work you have seen and has been proven.

I got my JLC Reverso TTR1931 engraved on the case back.... It was my wedding watch and will stay with me for life!

Hi Foong, I got it engraved at the JLC boutique at Starhill. I came up with a design motif that symbolized my marriage to my wife and they were kind enough to get the design engraved onto both our Reverso case backs. Very impressive!
