You never go wrong with Luminor
With seconds hand - 111, 177 and 005
W/o seconds hand - 112 and 000

Given a choice between 380 & 183, with the 183 costs about RM2k more, which would be a better buy? Budget is pretty much limited to these 2, although deep inside I am in love with the 111, of which hard to find a decent pre-owned unit & slightly above my budget.

If you like Logo on your watch 380.
If you like to see the movement 183.
If you like to have sandiwch dial 183 cause 380 is painted.

This should help you identify which watch to buy. Both are equally nice watches. I also came across a sifu telling me in the past all Panerai watch look the same only minor aesthetics difference.

If were to choose between 183 and 380. I'll vote for 380, logo carry alot of weight..

Logo on the a Panerai dial is very much model dependent. Not very much loved on the 424 and sadly on the 380 as well.

Hi all...
Planning to get my first Panerai watch. Base model, I hv decided to acquire either the Pam005 or Pam380. Both watch are manual winding with seconds hand.
To my surprise, both model are hard to get. Anybody know where to get it? Preferrably brand new in box, but i dont mind if pre-loved if the condition is good.
Or if anyone can suggest other model for my first Pam? Budget is little tight i.e. 20k max.
Thanks.

those are great choices. For me, manual winding on Panerai is always a win

Hi all,

Caught by the PAM bug recently and would like to know which AD in town has the most models to try out? Or which shop has the most variety of pre-owned PAMs?

Try the shop at The Weld .. I can't remember what the name is (but I'm sure you can Google it). Aside from that, the watch shop in BSC has a lot of Panerai. The one in Publika as well but I'm not a fan of it as the sales people there tend to be a bit .. snobby.
