Ya topic a bit out ......

Well Most likely I will settle with Rolex DJ II Rhodium Arabic

 :thumbsup: :Dancing_banana:

Even though I don't know you personally, my humble opinion is don't buy this watch until you are 40.
I can even figure how you look like now in your Rhodium next to your Triton.
Sorry for being too imaginative.
:Cheers:

Guys let's be fair. Keep the talk on watches. Don't lecture until someone beh song, OK?

Soonaikz, is OK to get status with a material purchase. I did that too sometimes. It feel good, however short the feeling last is a different story... lol

I personally think the DJ2 is not enough, a DD2 would have more of an impact. After all why stop at being a boss when THE big boss is the dream u aspire to be.

Like they say, dress for the position you want and not dress for the position you are in.

Yeah, I agree.
As for the choice of watches, a stainless steel model would not be loud enough for the intended intentions.
Might I suggest a full gold at at least a two tone DJ?
I would suggest a DayDate but looking at your budget, a TT would be a within budget.

Yeah man, nothing beats that Platinum DayDate.
Those not in the know will just THINK it's a stainless steel. (I too was guilty of this before)
Saw it once at my local AD and have the guts to ask them to lemme try it... freakin heavy!! But AWESOME!!

TS wants a watch costing up to RM 25K.
If budget no issue, I'd recommend him a Daytona meteorite dial in white gold if he insists on a Rolex.
Personal taste and preferences evolve over years, hopefully not 1 full circle otherwise it means we haven't learnt a single thing.

Agree with your comments, but for me, when considering a Rolex Datejust, the fluted bezel is a must.

Professional attitude towards business dealings is all one needs.
Bring your best to the table, not wear your best to the table.

Wow Hanz, very impressive and memorable statement. The best I've read for a very long time. Sounds very much like a line which you'll read in books like "How to Win Friends and Influence People".  :D :D

If this thread was discussed 5000 years ago, it would probably be "Big axe vs Long Sword vs golden spear...." or something like that. The thing is, the feeling that one needs to wear a power watch or power tie or drive a power car to impress the other side has a historical root. In the past you bring to the negotiation table the longest sword, the sharpest knife, the most bloodied axe, the heaviest club etc to intimidate your opponents. Now fast forward 5,000 years to the present times, the carrying of such weapons to the negotiation table is unfortunately (or fortunately) no longer an acceptable practice (unless you are a member of the underworld) hence ordinary folks who cannot free themselves from the shackle of this practice from deep antiquity resort to wearing and driving what some may consider flashy to intimidate and impress. Now, this is not a criticism made against the TS. Let's be honest, most of us at some point of time resort to this, albeit maybe in another form or to a different degree.

Wow Hanz.. I am impressed too. Very well said. I shall remember to quote it when the right situation arises.

Lol Enkidu... That was so funny. It's like when a bare hands Kung fu master walks into a tavern, nobody would look twice at him (unless he is Wong Fei Hung or Cheung San Feng). But if another Kung fu master walks in with his Golden Broadsword entwined with jewelled dragon and other complications, he makes a grand impression. Or one with a fierce looking Flying Guillotine (makes me think of Tourbillon), the normal folks will be awed (though prob not to another WIS - reads wuxia idiot savant).

So... Like Godzillaz said... A nice recognisable luxury watch probably helps to some extent. After that, it's all up to your real Kung fu. And also depends on how one carries himself during conversations... if one comes across as trying hard to show off the watch, some ppl will be turned off.

But I digress... in my humble opinion, I am in the Rolex camp for TS's quest (although I am a fan of GS). Perhaps the classic Datejust with green markers might suit you? Managed to google one here... Like the 3rd one. Personally, am more of a Rolex sports fan but to each his own.

Do what pleases you... All the best in your business venture and stay around in the forums.  :Cheers: :Cheers:

Is leasing no longer allowed?  ;)

Is still leasing for period of 5 year; however for maximum of 150K only; or 30K per year basis.....;

Example: If you buy a BMW for 250K....you can claim for tax exemption 30K per year up to 5 years 150k max the balance is add back to your profit and taxable..... this only valid for new car and subject number of director

Old 2nd hand car only max 50k claimable;

Sometime staff complaint celaka boss said company making no profit and still can buy a Toureg for his own; and boss said can reduce tax mar..... partly bullshit.... becoz he can only claim 30k per year the rest 420K will be taxable (if the car price 450k)....; of coz he can reduce another 30k company profit next year up to 5 years....

Thus why the reason a lot company only buy company car at range of Accord, Camry........
