There are cheaper alternatives at Lelong, just go to the site and search for "Watch repair tools". There are plenty. Expect low quality China made tools, thats what you pay anyway.

If you are fiddling with watches that are too precious to be broken by cheap tools, bring watch to a real watchmaker.

Thanks jyu. Mod removed the link. Could you pm me the link? Tq.

Thanks bezelnut for the info. I will try out lelong. Actually I am looking for one which is of good quality. I prefer to do it myself after a not so pleasant experience at a watch boutique for a simple task of resizing the bracelet. It's just a matter of one wanting to be more careful or not :)

A few other threads have discussed this and most users point to a shop at the ground floor of Kompleks Selangor, Tai Siang Watch.

Sorry to hear that bro. I totally understand your pain.

I also found that most people here points towards the shop mentioned by dpkong above. If you are in KL, might as well give it a try.

Wish you the best.

Cheap tools can seriously damage your watch/bracelet.

Example: screw-drivers.
Personal experience. Certain watches use 0.4mm size small screwdrivers. I bought a set of no-name-brand "made in China" screwdrivers from the hardware shop. DISASTER! Even though clearly labeled 0.4mm, the screwdrivers were either oversized/undersized BLUNT. They slipped - scratched up the watch and worse still, damaged the screws by slipping out and damaging the screw-head groove.

Wised up, ditched the cheap rubbish screwdrivers - went to Singapore and bought a set of real German/Swiss made  professional watch making screwdrivers and tools. Like day and night the difference in quality and use. Screwdrivers etc. fit perfectly into the grooves, no slippage. A professional set of screwdrivers cost me SGD $50 and it was worth it IMHO.

FYI: The places in Singapore that I know that sells high quality tools:
The watch shop 2nd or 3rd floor Funan Square.
Google JWW, 2nd floor - International Plaza, next to Tanjung Pagar MRT.
“Do not argue with an idiot they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.” - Mark Twain
This video will prepare you for internet life.

If your bracelet links are fixed by screws, get some good screw drivers. Price varies. If you want a set of good ones, get the Bergeon 2868. 5 screwdrivers, come in a yellow cardboard box. You can get it over the internet or from the shop recommended by dpkong if you are in KL.
