Pleas recommend me a watch RM2k-2.5k
« on: April 27, 2010, 12:01:23 PM »
Hi,

I am a newbie here. Would like to check with you guys any watch that can recommend for me to get for my gf. My budget is around RM2k-2.5k. Hopefully can get a nice watch for her.

I will be checking out Starhill later. I heard a brand call EPOS is pretty good. Not sure if its within budget or not..

Appreciate you guys ideas! Thanks.

Hello anechoic,
Yes Epos is within your budget. For alternative, can look at Tissot and Seiko also

Longines Classic Ultra Thin is a pretty good bet. My wife's been wearing that for 5-6 years even though she's got other newer watches.

we bought a longines hydroquest with 20% discount. not sure if its value for money or not? hehe..but it look nice on her. my gf is weird one, she wear watch to sleep and shower..haha.

ps: just curious, would a mechanical watch be better than quartz for a 2k-3k watch? it is possible to get a mechanical one?
