Good watch, but rather expensive la.

Works like the standard Seiko Kinetics with improvements.

AFAIK, the capacitors on these kinetics last longer than the older versions.

Yes, kinetic capacitor is a problem.
That's why I don't buy any kinetic watch.
I have 1 Eco-Drive and 2 quartz watches. I was planning to get a nice looking and sporty outdoor kinetic watch to complete my collection. This direct drive seems unique, I will check it out see if it meets my expectations.

Generally the watch looks perfect with the naked eye. However under magnification there are some (very) slight misalignment.

Tolerance are abit wider for Seiko.

I have these black Seiko for about 9 years. Back then I just thought it was cool having a black stainless steel watch and my first mechanical watch.

Little did I know that today, this watch is selling above what I paid back in 2007....lol..
