VC Overseas

'm planning to get a VC next week when i'm in KL and i would like some opinions. special tahnks to bro peanut for linking me to an AD..

overseas date - JLC 889 movement (nicer finishing)
overseas chrono  FP movement

the price difference is ard RM16K! i don't use chrono function. would you pay so much more for a F.Piguet movement?

by the way, i'm also planning to get omega aqua terra chrono (ivory teak dial, co-axial movement) and JLC Amvox (green dial in titanium; Aston Martin edition...it's no longer in production) in this trip (if possible provided there's stock)....anyone seen any of these in ADs/pre-owned shops?

When I was at the shop, I noticed the VC Oversea Automatic is "missing".  David mentioned that he is now keeping for you!   
He did ask me if I want to take a look but I said I will let James have it   
Personally, the chrono version is much better looking but RM64k is too rich for me. 

I think I saw the JLC Amvox DBS green (but SS not titanium if not mistaken) at the Star Hill JLC Boutique.  Cortina KLCC has 2 one is SS the other is titanium but both are black.

I agree chrono version is nicer but the price difference is a consideration. Hopefully David can give me better price.

Oh, I was referring to JLC amvox alarm and I'm smitten with the green dial in titanium case (not DBS). It's so difficult to find it!!  I'm still drooling over Danny's AMVOX Alarm!! I'll check out the boutiques (thanks again)
