Tag Heuer Grand Carrera caliber 36

Hi,

Need some opinions from you all, the experts,

I am thinking of my next purchase wud be tag heuer Grand Carrerra caliber 36

I instantly fell in love with the design but am un sure of whether it is worth it.

Is this watch reliable?
Is the price worth the movement?
Any known issue for this watch?

I know nothing about this watch, except that i like it's looks. Hope to get some opinions or even some recommendations.

I personally won't spend above rm25k of my hard earned money on a new tag..No matter how "good" they claim the watch is.& knowing Tag poor preownwd value there are plenty other better "value" watches that u can buy with that budget. Unless if u really2 like "Brembo brake" calipers on yr watch then go for it!! Again, this is my personal opinion only..

It's amongst my fave Tag watches too. I got a Carrera Calibre 16 Chronograph earlier, hope that I could get a Grand Carrera after putting aside some savings later the year. Btw, I saw a supposedly BNIB Grand Carrera for sale at Mudah for RM5k earlier the week as the seller needed cash urgently, and quickly contacted the seller.

Funny how sellers like this tried to pass off replicas as genuine articles and at a premium price (for a replica). I hope nobody bought it thinking that he/she was getting the real Grand Carrera.

Good luck in your purchase and do post up the pictures after you have gotten the Grand Carrera!

Personally... Its not my kind of watch. It looks like there is too much going on here and there by looking at the watch. Either you hate it or you love it. I believe that all Swiss movements are very reliable. So you dont have to worry too much on the reliability.

My alternative was the IWC Ingeniu racer Chorongraph, it looks greats but over my budget, and i have no idea where to get it.
