Independent watch service & repair
« on: April 13, 2013, 07:13:10 PM »
Hi Mod, if this posting is in the wrong section, pls move accordingly.

Can anyone recommend reliable & trustworthy independent watch service & repair centre. Preferably in Subang, Sunway or PJ area.

Bought my dad a Stowa Marine Automatic a few years back. Warranty is already over. A few days back he complained that the watch was not self winding. After taking a look myself (the watch has a see-through case back), the rotor is not winding properly. It has very limited movement, perhaps partially jammed. Since it's an ETA2824-2 movement and warranty is already lapsed, I don't want to go through the hassle of sending the watch back to Germany for repair. I believe the ETA2824 should be easily repaired locally and cheaper as well.

Would appreciate any recommendation. Kindly PM contact details.

Thanks.

Eric
