Cheap? It depends on how deep is your pockets...

Battery and gasket change - RM110 does not include servicing the movement.
Changing the crown alone would cost you around RM200+
Include case restoring and changing the bezel would take the total into 4 digit figures already. If the watch means a lot to you, why not?

hi Ratt, do you have the same watch? I had talk to other shop not the service center, the price changing the battery cheaper than you  said before. My watch crown is ok, only want to change the gasket and service the casing. If the cost is over 1k, I had to think again.  Of course I want to take care this watch carefully even it is not the most expensive watch. I really like this watch.

i thought the bezel is quite difficult to scratch?

i got the Series 3: 2004-2007 model (crownguard and some parts of the casing are plastic)..after a few years the plastic crownguard was broken and sent it to the LVMH SC. They quoted me rm700+ for changing battery+gasket and changing the plastic case+crownguard.

thanks squasub

The bezel is ok, just want it look like new.  :D. From the price that you quote  :-\ , maybe I'll consider to change the gasket, servicing the casing and check the crown and crown gasket condition. My watch crownguard is still ok. Thanks for the general idea about the servicing. Now I have some useful information before heading to the nearest SC.

Thanks for your info squasub, about the crown guard. is it just attach to the casing or, it is punctured into the casing? Could water get into casing through that plastic crown guard?

I have a different older model. WE1221/2.BB Just checked the invoice.
Battery and Gasket written as Maintenance & Service RM120.00

My mistake, sorry.  :-[

Go to the LVMH SC and have the watch appraised. Tell the service rep what you want done. You'll need to wait around 30min to 1 hour while they inspect your watch and give you a quote.
