To recover "the" scratches. Scratch it more.
To recover "from" scratches, polish it.

Just let it be.  There is nothing to recover.  Just like your car.  You "recover" the dents and scratches?

If its brush steel finishing, you can attempt to "remove" the hairline marks by using a scrubbing pad. If its high polish finish or mirror finish, don't scrub it because you will turn high polish finishing into brush steel finishing. Get professional service if its high polish.
