Frank Sinatra - A Brief Introduction
Born in 1915 New Jersey, USA, Frank Sinatra was the son of Italian immigrants. He started his career as a singer on local radio shows, though he soon built up a massive following.
A key member of the Rat Pack, he was known as The Voice. With songs like “My Way” and films like From Here to Eternity Frank Sinatra sang and acted his way into the hearts of millions.
And that’s why ORIS has dedicated a mechanical watch collection to the great entertainer.

The Frank Sinatra Limited Edition Power Reserve 2005 is limited to 2090 units globally.
The multi-piece (total 6-pieces) stainless-steel case comes in a modern design, with a fine radial pattern on the dial and numbers in the style of Broadway posters. Number "12" on the dial is blue color.

I bought this watch in end 2012 (as new) and it comes with 2 years manufacturer's warranty as well.
I love the simplicity of the design, distinctive stingray leather strap and power reserve meter at 6/8 position.
Surprisingly, the accuracy is superb, thanks to the ORIS 667 ETA 2897 movement.

Some additional opinions I would like to add-on besides the history & specs earlier.
This is my second ORIS, my first was William F1 series which I am wearing it for more than 7 years.
I have been looking for a square/rectangular shape watch for so long and yet nothing catching my eye balls, some are out of my budget
However, when I saw this watch on display, it was eye-catching to me and without second thought, i grasped it.
More ever, it is also a limited edition watch that its rare and hard to find, i meant new set.

It suites my wrist well (as I am having a small left wrist) with the diameter of 40 x 39 mm.
Thickness at 11 mm looks great to match the overall dimension.
The flat/thin crown (unlike other ORIS series) with big crowns that won't hurt your wrist when bending over while working.
Thanks to flexible lugs too as it adds comfort to my wrist.
Owing to this watch too that I know an old timer great entertainer - Frank Sinatra.

The appearance of the cedar-wood cigar box is simply classy, with dark brown color and smooth surface. (not much decorations added)
I am not a cigar lover but i did appreciate the entire appearance of the packing. Adding onto it, a stainless steel cigar cutter, with ORIS logo engraved neatly. Its handy if you are a cigar lover. Besides, I do not know how accurate the hygrometer is. I have a dry box at home that keeps my Nikon D90, perhaps I can try it out in near future. 

Firstly when I wear the stingray leather strap, it was too hard to fold over the claps. After a few weeks, it gets softer and easy to fix on daily. The background color of strap is black, with shinny tiny little white dots. Personally, I don't think there are other straps that match this watch so perfectly.
