In 2012 , the corum admiral cup 42 was selling at USD 3,600. It might selling at a slightly different price today. good luck LOW

At a glance, I'd choose the Corum.

Both brands are off my radar though, so I know nothing apart from your pictures.

Rugged and yet a contemporary look - Corum wins hands down..
But its dails are a bit pale to my liking.

Simple and elegant - ML steps up on these areas.
Its not too brashy, a nice dress watch.

I will go for the ML.

Wouldn't it make more sense to save up for a GS instead? My personal philosophy is 2 ok ok watch doesn't add up to 1 great watch.

Yes, agree... If its 2 watches that im OKOK with, but love another wihch is more expensive, would save for more expensive one...
But I actually like all 3 [ i.e. GS (cant remember model, but the 1 wif power reserve), Corum and ML]. Just that of the 3, most expensive is the GS...

Assuming include the GS in the list, which would you vote? xP

Wow... by far, seems like the Corum has the most vote...
Just wondering, what's lacking in the ML?

Yes would include the GS in my list of "targets" as well.. xP
If the GS wins over the other 2, would save for it..

ML watches have great designs. I'm not sure if you've checked out all their collections?

I would go for ML.

if GS is in the picture then GS for sure

Design-wise, the Corum looks better. I might be wrong here, but in terms of marketing communication, positioning and recognition, Corum would rank higher too. So, between the two, go for the Corum! Of course, if still unsure, then better to save for something like IWC.. ;D

Yes, the reason I love the Corum is the iconic 12 angle design with a clean and neat dial...

could Corum be considered as a jewelry watch? that's my feelings all along.. with that budget in mind, you could opt for something else :)
