Sudden urge for this Seiko diver
« on: February 03, 2010, 12:40:19 PM »
The only Seiko diver i want more than the orange monster is this....i believe its called the tuna can?
This is the 300m version which i think is more than enough for me.
I know there is a 1000m ver if i remember correctly which is in the Prospex lineup.
Anyone members have this in their collection?
Cant seem to locate it in any shops new or used...not even the flea markets.

Yes, this a nice one..a friend of mine (who quietly monitoring this forum) has one :) Try on his and love it even though it's quartz... the second hand hit every minutes marker accurately ;) Love it on bracelet... still waiting when he want to sell me cheap cheap  :P

I think chris mentioned is the propex not this tuna ;)

if I'm not mistaken this model still can get online from one of the famous japnanes online watch shop... Search around you should find it, I think the price is between RM1200 to RM2000 depend if you take rubber strap or bracelet... I can be wrong on the pricing because did my search sometimes back...

hey ivan welcome!!

yeah red, blue and yellow Monsters are thailand only Limited edition models.

you can always get after market dials from yobokies and 10watches.com to mod your own Monsters to your prefered colour schemes.

the closest would be Sumos or Samurais i guess.

Think i've seen yellow Sumos before and there's a blue Samurai. anyone can confirm the colours?

You have 2 choices of rings. The cross sections are either flat or round. The "round" ring comes with thicker strap which I prefer
