Why loose interest in the Freak?

Its such an iconic piece.

As nice as a 1665 is....i would go for the Freak first if given the chance.

Did not manage to complete last year's wishlist.
Carry forward to this year.

1. Zenith New Vintage 1969 Tricolor Dial. (or 38mm 36k vph Tricolour or Zenith Stratos Flyback 1/10th Tricolour)
2. Zenith Espada Black Dial. (No go for the reasons posted a few pages back)
3. Audemars Piguet Ceramic Diver. (If got unexpected windfall or strike lottery)

No go for No.2
No.3 is unattainable for obvious reasons...  ;D Have to carry forward to next year... and the next again... an again... lol

Working hard on No.1 now... but abit off from what was listed... but close...

U prefer Saxonia over Lange 1? I find that the latter is more iconic.

I prefer the hands to be located at the center... I'm kinda old fashioned that way.

ACtually that is good choice also. Saxonia also much value for money.

I am smitten also by the Richard Lange - Platinum case, white face, blue hands... Sigh... However, it is a manual wind, and at the risk of sparking a huge war here, I still prefer automatics. I know the back case view would be awesome though, without a rotor blocking that awesome view.

The Platinum Richard Lange has a silver dial and only the seconds hand is blued. Perhaps you are referring to the White Gold version?

Did not manage to complete last year's wishlist.
Carry forward to this year.

1. Zenith New Vintage 1969 Tricolor Dial. (or 38mm 36k vph Tricolour or Zenith Stratos Flyback 1/10th Tricolour)
2. Zenith Espada Black Dial. (No go for reasons posted a few pages back)
3. Audemars Piguet Ceramic Diver. (If got unexpected windfall or strike lottery)

Finally after 2 years in the making... finally able to strike No.1 off... wait for a more comprehensive review.
That's it for this year...
Stroke off 2 on the original list of 3... Although No.2 was a no go due to unforeseen circumstances... I was still quite focused... hehehe

No.3 will take some time to achieve... maybe never... never ever...  ;D
