Yea such a waste as they are one of the 5 original makers of BP.
Have emailed them the availability of Pilot A auto. Miyota brown and they say new stock will be in next month.
Hope they can survive the storm.   :Praying:

is that picture above is the 55 mm laco  ???

Which laco is closest to the original? Does the miyota version had a screw in crown so as to easily hand wind it..

I have the pilot b miyota. It's very good value for money.  And we don't pay the VAT so the it's like getting a discount.

Hope the company pulls through.

Mix of both I think. Designed in germany. The movements are ETA so it's swiss. But other parts may be made in germany. I've read in other forums that some of steinhart's watches are made by a swiss company called Grovana. Don't know if that's still the case.

Other Germans i.e. Stowa, Laco, Archimede all stamped Made in Germany while using ETA, Miyota. Steinhart's stamped Swiss made at the back, so I wonder  ???

rxw is brand created by a pre owned watch shop, ken trading in ginza japan....
this shop owned by ken sato, and is a big time rolex collector...
so his shop also specialize in rolex and other pre owned n vintage watches....

Some good news from Laco,

Quote
LACO has found a new investor (not again a watch brand). We were able to order nearly all missing parts concerning our pilot watches range. We will show a re-launch of our homepage middle this year and re-designed pilot watches, that will be ready for delivery then...
We will be celebrating our 85th anniversary this year...with a limited model.
Just stay tuned... Peter
