Rubber B

I came across a rubber strap made in Switzerland for Rolex watches. Google for "Rubber B" if you are interested to get a rubber band to fit your loved ones. It has good reviews and don't look flimsy at all and come in many colors. It is not cheap USD220 onwards

They've been around awhile now. Recently, I've seen they added a strap which doesn't need to use the original Rolex clasp. It looks interesting but USD220 is a lot to spend without knowing for sure if I'll like it.

ya, agreed that it is a bit expensive for rubber strap.

So far, the best rubber strap I experienced is the one from Omega Planet Ocean, thick, good quality & comfy. The worst is from B&R, broken in piece after 2-3 years.

Looks nice on rolex... quite expensive but then again since u can afford to own a rolex wat is USD220 for a rubber strap

That is exactly my experience! My Planet Ocean rubber strap is still good since 2007, but my B&R strap disintegrated in just over a year. Not even worn hard, just fell apart in the watch box. What's worse, it was a BR-02; the rubber strap is shaped as part of the case. The Velcro strap or any replacement 26mm strap looks odd and out of place on the BR-02. No way I will buy a strap to have it fall apart within a year.

Frankly, if I'm going to not use the metal bracelet on a Rolex sports model, I'd go leather strap (plenty of choice and some of them are water resistant) or go NATO/Zulu like Mr. Bond. It's got to be pretty fantastic to cost >usd200.

We should make a complaint to B&R and get a replacement.

Good thing I sold my BR -02 but during the years I had it,the strap has behaved rather well, but few years down the road,dunno
