Broga Hill tough watch gtg

Date : 25 nov 2012, Sunday
Time : 550am
Gathering point : car park opposite rabbit fun park, here

From Kajang what ever road - go to semenyih via Jkr road , after passing semenyih town ( right side, left side got big temple ), follow signage n turn to left towards broga n Nottingham universities ( u will c a Petronas on ur right)... All the way straight. Till u c the rabbit fun park on ur right, turn left and park ur car at the oil palm estate, rm2 will be charged, wait there!

Do ur survey earlier on the route

Planning
600am - 645am uphill
645am - 730am enjoying the sun rise

830am breakfast at broga town

930am visit sek Dato temple

1130am lunch grill fish restaurant near temple

What to bring n wear

1. Tough watch like pp nautilus
2. Torch light
3. Insect repellent if u owe mosquito money
4. Drinking Water - not too much - no toilet up hill
5. Camera for our wrist shots
6. Money to buy me gd fd
7. Wear ur underwear n sports outfit, wear long long if scared of lalang scratch u n ur watch

M keen but I hope the climb wont be tracherous n heart pounding. I havent been up any hill for a long while.
Also I dont think I know how to get there from pj. I'll try to google.

Can I make a final cfm on Sat. I'll to you my mobile later.

Don't worry... It's just 30mins walk... Many ppl there every weekend, u won't lost even u can't catch up...

Broga Hill is not tough to tackle. Gasing Hill in PJ is slightly more difficult compared with Broga Hill. (Note: it is just a hill, not a mountain/gunung which is more difficult eg. Gunung Datuk, Gunung Nuang etc.)

Just consider like taking a walk up a slow inclining trail. Have Fun guys as I will be outstation this weekend.

Glad to have this outing with fellow MWF buddies. There were 8 of us. Below are our record of achievements...  ;D

The Eagle has landed on the 1st peak...after 34 minutes.

We also went to a Temple in Broga. Monkey God is the focus of the locals, don't know why...






There is also a "Golden Gate Bridge" look alike here...








Jacky said this was the hill we climbed...

The Speedy Pro is tough, provided u own the one with sapphire glass.  ;D.
I accidentally scratched my watch on the granite boulder when trying to concur the last stage, where ropes were needed to help climbing (look at my 3rd peak photo). Thank God, it still unhurt.

Engkidu, no worry, there is always another chance to climb & prove yourself.  ;D
Just curios, thought u supposed to wear the Seiko chrono for this climb, what happened?
I'm keen to get one of this Seiko Chrono, mind pm me where & what price u paid for it?

The seiko chrono was in my bag. So exhausted I forgotten about having brought it along! OK, will PM you the details...... :laugh:

The rough leaf kuih by Hakka.... I bought the kosong want... Not every1 cup of tea due to its green taste... But thats the taste keep me knowing who m I and where I come from...

For those who have not taste the big round yellow rambutan... Pls try, don't confuse with the new oval shape type planted in farm... This round one hv different texture n taste... The flesh is thick and crunchy !!!
