@Kenny
Actually I have already let go of my little episode.
There is no point taking this any further.
My blog have already said all that needs to be said about this incident.
I have come to realize p.com as a lifestyle forum, being as passionate as they are... I guess outsiders like me just wouldn't understand.
I am into watches for my love of watches, not the lifestyle that it entails.
"Gaze into the abyss long enough and the abyss will gaze back into you" - Nietzsche
For the haters and bashers (Kennypane and Hanz) that can't seem to let go of it, what this means that if you fixate and hate something long enough, and throw in an unhealthy dose of spiritual loneliness for intelligent, warmhearted, cosmic neighbors, the metaphorical abyss will turn and become part of you. It won't really be gazing back into you. But you will have created a mirror in your mind that will swallow you. I paraphrased that while looking up the saying. It's not even about the merits (or the lack of) of the watch brand anymore - you've fixated on the people. It's not healthy and you guys are coming across as nutty as the people you hate on.
A lot of time and energy writing on a brand and it's fans that you purportedly hate... I love my Breitlings but I don't spend as much time on it as some of you guys spend bashing Panerai and it's fans.

The truth.

Unfortunately I am not as well versed as to understand the above post.
But, it's ok.
There's always 2 sides of the coin.
Just for clarification, I do not hate Panerai watches.
But I do hate ristis. (this sentence here may soon be taken out of context)
And as I have said it many times before,
there are ristis and there are RISTIS.I am honestly hard pressed to know which is which.
After this little incident, I sure know better now.
Somehow, people have to understand that whatever experiences we go thru in this hobby is a very personal one.
No one is born hating a brand or a community, something have got to sway a person to form certain opinions on a particular brand or community, don't you think?
Unfortunately, there is only so much that one can share in a forum.
And to keep this thread from becoming off topic, let's just keep the discussions that this thread is meant to discuss. Thanks.
