We are starting to plan earlier this year

.
The annual dinner will be on Saturday Jan 5th 2013.
ALL are welcome to join and the restaurant we choose will be serving food that suits 1Malaysia

Venue will be in around the Klang Valley and will be PM to the people who attend.

Let this thread be the main discussion thread.

You can probably get those at the Omega boutiques at Starhill or Pavilion.

Some update.

I am speaking to a place which is a specialty coffee/tea cafe which has excellent drinks.
A menu is in the works now. Nothing too fancy.

The place has also agreed to invent a MWF welcome drink

What i like about this place is their glass doors are LOCKED and customers need to ring to get in.
Safety is good!

The cafe closes at 1am so plenty of time for us to hang out if we decide to

As it stands i have secured half the premisses. If we reach 30 members joining then i can request to close entire restaurant just for MWF.

Restaurant is pork free.

We have a good amount of people sign up so far.
And its good to have first timers joining.

Members, this is a great chance to know the crowd in MWF so please do sign up for the annual dinner.

Its very informal and just a casual gathering for all watch lovers.

If you have a friend who would like to join bring them along and sign up as well.

To all Firstimers, Newbies, Novice (whatever you want to categorise yourselves)...

Since I consider myself rather new to the forum...
From my first meeting during last Sunday's GTG, the MWF members (4 members and 2 mods) are a friendly and approachable bunch.

Did not feel intimidated in anyway and seriously look forward to the Anniversary Dinner.

So to all newbies like me, there is nothing to worry..."Ini group tak makan orang"...and that (literally) means a lot coming from a Plankton-Ikanbilis

Putting this to the top.
Menu will be finalized in the next 2 weeks and venue is already confirmed.

If nothing drastic changes it will be held at Solaris Mont Kiara.

Meeting with the cafe owner this weekend to hopefully finalize the menu and details.
Will also post up final cost per person.

Hope more members join though as if so we can have the whole place to ourselves.

Spoken to the cafe owner and have finalized the menu.
I have opted to go simple as i wanna treat this as a gathering than anything extravagant

Price for the annual dinner of MWF is rm65 nett.

For that you will get the below:

- Welcome drink specially created for the day only.
- Salad.
- Soup.
- Choice of main which is a simple lasagna or their specialty omelet.
- Dessert choice of house made tiramisu or lemon tart.
- Ice cream.
On top of that since that place is famous for its gourmet coffee and tea we get to choose any 2 from the menu regardless of price.

I think this is a good deal. Price i purposely make it "reasonable".

So come on guys, for those who have not yet sign up please do

If we can reach 30 person i can ask them to close the entire place just for us.
As it stands we will have 70% of the cafe space to our self.

What you see in the pics, 70% of the space will be allocated for the MWF event.
Including the bar area.
