I think Laco has better history in regards of pilot watches.
Steinhart started life as a homage maker... they make watches that look like Rolex and Pilot watches.
From what I read, Steinhart make pretty good watches for the price that they are asking.
As for Laco, their pilot watches are also good.
Since they are one of the original 5 makers of the pilot watches, the history is there.
I find them well built and really good for their asking price.
Even the ones using miyota movements are pretty good and accurate.

My Laco pilot miyota... have since left me.

Terrenceterrence "seriously, i think buying a watch for it's secondhand value is like getting married and thinking about divorce at the back of your mind."
