where can sell my vintage / new watch in malaysia ???

dear friends,

i went to several places for 2nd hand watch shop, but according to them, when they mentioned , " They take in all kinds of watches ". i presume that they will take it almost everything. But no. they do not take it anything that is not farmiliar to them. I got an arbutus watch which originated from the US , but i am not able to sell it out at all.

We take in all kinds of watches which we can sell

Arbutus does not originate from US, they're from HK/China.

Most of the pre-owned shops in the Klang valley are choosy in buying / taking in watches from the general consumers.

Be prepared to (minus the shock) that they are paying you peanuts for your so-called branded watches on a fractions of your purchase prices. In these scenario, its better that you keep your intend to sell time pieces rather than to dispose them in this manner.

For general perception, if your friendly pre-owned shops were to acquire your precious time pieces, be prepared to look at - (minus) 80-90% off your purchased price, unless yours is in a few brand category worth mentioning....

that is business... No one pay for something loose money in business...

Yeah...  That's china made!
Nowadays even Swiss made also can be china made case, crystal, bezel, strap buckle...
Then fit with a low grade 2824-2
Assemble by Swiss train watchmaker at Swiss...
Swiss made!!!

German make easier...
