Hi Lola,
If the watch is going 5 minutes fast after 5 days of operation then that's 1 minute per day which is unusual for an ETA 2824. Even the lowly 7S26/7S36 calibers from Seiko are rated at -20 to +40sec per day.

I believe the watch is still under warranty. You can bring it back to the service center and request for the watch to be regulated.

Hi Lola,
Regulated means having the watch adjusted for accuracy.

Hi CK,
If you want your watch accuracy to be measured to the second, the best way is to bring it to your watchmaker to have it measured by the timing machine. The machine can do the job in an instant.

the machine can measure to all 5 positions u wanted to...
but when u wear... human will move around with different position...
so end of the day.... it wont be perfect!
