Pics of my AP Jumbo Two Tone
« on: October 03, 2012, 08:07:29 AM »
Some mobile phone pics until i get off my lazy ass to find some good light source around the house  :P

I would like to say again that the S2 is a LOUSY phone to capture pics, no dedicated button and its almost impossible to operate with one hand. :HammerHead:

lovely AP 2 tone..
this 2 tone combi look was popular in the late 80s- early 90's

You mean with grey dials?
Any example of the other watches you can show?

bro,
sorry, I meant generally 2 tone watches were hot in late 80's/early 90's not just APs..most brands had them..
I had a few including Tag Heuer, Seiko, Titoni and even an EternaMatic with grey dial but alas, all sold off over the years....

Some extra pics i just took.
For a watch over 35yrs old its still holding strong and in pretty good shape.

Still with the old style clasp.

Zoom in a bit

Bracelet stretch not as serious as Rolex Jubilee

What is stamped on the clasp.
Damn if my Rolex has those Brevete stamp would be worth loads? :Laughing_on_floor:

New crown from service

All the sides, looks like the previous polish done before sold to me did a good job.
Didnt butcher the beautiful Genta designed curves.

Very handsome. Royak Oak is always rated n compare in the same breath as PP Nautilus. Imo, it is craftsmanship of the highest degree. It is artistic geometry in action.

A dash of gold signifies your arrival. Your measure of success.

Wear it in good health, Peter.  Congrats!
