It's a tough call between my Sub 14060M and Rootbeer 16713.
Something that I can still see myself wearing when I am 80. Timeless and comfortable. But when I am a frail 70 year old, a smaller ExpI would be more suitable.
It'll be real awkward seeing an old man with a ROO on the wrist or even leaving a big arse Barrichello as an heirloom.
True enough, Terrence but maybe at age 70 we may not be frail? the Sub may last longer for it's ever surviving classic look. Yeah I like you Rootbeer when I first came across it here, different from the everyday 16710s that we see around. Well u can always change it to Coke or Pepsi through bezel change. A bit modified but use original Rilex parts only.
ROO is different league. The muthafu@@ing pieces are huge and so pricey that I dont understand why: a bit like Big Bang series outside big and adventurous, inside movement nothing to shout about. I am talking about the watch, not the Korean hip hop band which I happen to have 2 of their CDs :p
I have seen old strong uncles wearing Sub before. Happen to know one who smokes like 3 packs a day wearing his Sub. Quite cool. Steve Macqueen oriental style. Exp I will fit right on the wrist and not move about too much if compared to bigger pieces. Good point.
