Has decided to let go my 16570 after almost 9 years with me. The buyer now offered to exchange with his PAM 00244. Am not a big fan of Panerai before, so would like to know your honor opinion for this deal... :Praying:

both watches share certain similarities and also vast differences

GMT function on the 244 sucks cause it does not have an independent hour hand unlike the 16570. Setting the local time when you travel is a pain. While you can easily use the EXP2 as your travel watch, the 244 is more suited as a watch you use at home to track another timezone.

At 40mm and 22mm wide lugs, it's not actually get much street cred among the Risti's unlike other more exotic "calibre-d smaller Pams". Choices for straps might not be as wide as the regular 24mm lug width.

My take? keep your Exp2 and hook up a base/historic model like a 000, 005, 111, 112 etc......

Agree with bro terrence and bro tony in keeping your rollie.
But since you said you are not a fan of PAM before, what makes you start loving it now? Changing taste?
