If I may suggest, its far better that you identify a few of those watches that really 'speak to you' and then see which watches are within your budget.
Between RM 20K-25K, you can get basic JLC Reverso, Squadra, Master Control or Compressor -without complications.
You did not share which type of watch you're looking for..
formal, casual, sporty,
simple time only, chronograph, GMT, power reserve, moonphase, etc..
its simply too wide…
Personal taste and preferences evolve over years, hopefully not 1 full circle otherwise it means we haven't learnt a single thing.

i would say RM20-25k for a watch is a good budget. you have a large choice inside that price range, even more if you will consider pre-owned pieces.

do take your time to try out different watches at ADs or other retail outlets and find the one you like the most. then if the price for a new one is outside your budget, start a hunt for a pre-owned piece.

buying a nice watch should not be rushed into. take your time and make sure you really want it before you go for it.

Dear Sifu,thank for your advice.
I looking the watch for daily use / formal use. If possible, i wish the watch come with moonphase, date and power reserve and automatic watch. For the JLC model, personally i prefer JLC Squadra series.
thanks....

No sifu….

If you're looking for a JLC with those complications, the closest in the current JLC collection is the Master Control Master Calendar. This is within your budget.
The Master Ultra Thin has all except the PR and is manual wind.

You may need to consider pre-owned for the older models with those complications, which is a very good option except you need to be patient to wait for the right one to pop up. Not many JLCs are available used as their pre-owned value is not attractive….
Actually I do have a Master Control Master Moon which has all the complications you want but its in White Gold so its above your budget even pre-owned…
Another JLC that fits most of your requirement is the Reverso Grande GMT which I also happen to own. A nice watch with a lot of complications but no moonphase instead it has a day/night, not an auto but an 8-day PR hand wind.

Hi Rick , consider a pre own reverso grande gmt . It has dual face ,8 days power reserve, dual time, day night n the beauty of it all a manual wind retrogade power reserve gauge. Around your budget , the biggest size after the squadra., but its a dress watch. Or you can go for a brand new rolex sub or gmt 2c., both are all purpose watch.  Another choice is a pre own DSSD,that is slightly more than your budget, can be a good everyday watch..  : : Welcome to MWF. just my opinion tony

For ur budget of RM20 to 25k. I would settle for a Submariner Date.

U can wear at any occasion....

Dear All,
Good Morning.....
Thanks for your advice.
If Reverso Grande GMT can meet with my budget, i think i will go for it.
I just wondering what is the different btw auto and 8-day PR hand wind?
For purchase this range of watches, shall i go to ADs or boutique? Any price different?
Once again..thanks.....

Rick,
The Reverso Grande GMT new is RRP @ 47K. You may get a pre-owned between 25-30k depending on condition. If u do a search, one of the MWF forummers recently sold his pre-owned Grand GMT on a bracelet for  30K recently.

hi Rick., The reverso grande automatic only has a power reserve of about 46 hrs, date ,only single face. A pre own will cost below rm 20k. THe top range reverso grande gmt manual wind when fully wound will last you 8 days of power. regards tony.

Tend tp agreed with JPSP,

Rolex ceramic GMT IIc, meet all round specs and good resale value.

The only brand using SS904L for casing and bracelet, compared with the rest SS316 grade only

Happy hunting
