The Sound of Music?
« on: December 23, 2009, 06:29:19 PM »
Dear owner of Big Pilot's Watch.

Just wanna check with you guys. Does your BP produce some sort of sound as if something like metal "running around" inside? The sound quite noticable. None of my other watches produce sound as "loud" as BP. I did read the same question posted in IWC's forum and they said it's ok.

Regards.

Yes, it is normal. I asked the same question and got the same answer. No worries. :)

That's the sound of the Pellaton winding system. It's hardly audible unless you put the watch close to your ear.

I like it....a different feeling to the 7750 wobble that I like a lot.

In a quiet office or room, it is audible from an arm length.
