My vote goes to the DSSD. Better discount and less blingy and generally it's a much tougher watch all around.

Hi Jacky, if you have a medium or small wrist n you like some complication its daytona hands down. If you have big wrist n at present you don't own  an SD or Sub , then go for the DSSD. Both are totally different in design n usage. JUst my opinion..fr .tony.

DEEP SEA.

Reason being the white dial 116520 look plain and blah to me.

Of course there's something not so nice about the DSSD, the bracelet. If Rolex release a bigger bracelet next year then I will probably give the DSSD a go.

I don't love the DSSD but I dread the 116520 especially the white dial.

Hence the reason I choose the DSSD. Don't get me wrong the DSSD is one hell of a watch only weak point is the bracelet.

Tyler

I support the DSSD and even the new DSSDC

Looks like the watch version of Hummer H1 and H2

I don't get it. Sorry for being stupid. Is there a new DSSD? what's a DSSDC? Is the C suppose to be "Ceramic"? I thought DSSD already has a ceramic bezel. Or is there a new full ceramic DSSD that I am not aware of. Sorry for me asking stupid question.

Hi, Jacky,

If your wrist size is 6.75 inches, maybe you go for the Daytona which I believe still comes in a 40mm case(??). Having personally tried the DSSD, I find it does not sit well on my wrist (OK, OK, of course, I am fat, with 8 inch wrist). Compared to the sub or sub-date, I also find the DSSD a LITTLE less legible to read, maybe because of the thicker crystal and the light diffraction / deflection etc. I can't comment on the Daytona because unlike you folks I don't have that much spare cash. Or maybe you can emulate Danny, kinng 2 birds with one stone: Get an Omega Seamaster with chronograph - a diver with chrono function (and plus date - which the Daytona does not have)!!!

I was comparing the DSSD to the sub and sub-date.
