I have not research this but I think generally those big names like Panasonic / Seiko (probably OEM) / Renata / Maxell are good battery brands.

Hi I heard from some one that  the SWISS made ones like the one used  in Rado does not leak wet liquid into the circuit .If it do leak , it does so   only in dry powder form. Pls check it out first, I might be wrong...fr tony.

Had a bad experience with Renata, use it on my wife Cartier Santos. After 2 years it stopped and leaked so badly until need to change the whole quartz movement. And it seems for that model it uses Cartier own movement not from ETA (Cartier movement is more expensive...sigh!)....so a good friend of mine advice me just use other makes like sony or maxell, much better it doesn't leak. He also advice me tu pull the crown of the watch when not in use. I guess by doing that, the battery can last longer.

My swiss quartz watch only use swiss battery-Renata.

Once my watch stops, i always quickly send them for battery change.
