Help!!

Hi guys! officially joined today after keeping in 'bookmark' for a few months. Been reading almost all your posts, you guys are all very knowledgeable, helpful as well as tolerable e.g can ask anything about any watch. Which... leads to my dilemma & the title.

(At the risk of getting the IWC club members arguing with the ristis  ) I have been lusting  over Portuguese Yacht Club for a few years now. But when it comes to the crunch (or maybe the jitters got to me or I'm just turning into "a chicken"  ) I've come to think that it is too much money for 1 watch when I can get (I think), a Panerai (which I have also been lusting behind IWC's back! ) and a Portofino Chrono. I know Yacht Club and Portofino is very different i.e (correct me if I'm wrong)sports vs dress watch but alas to have IWC in my modest collection (of Omega speedmaster 'moon', oris dress watch & G-Shock GW-3000) as well as head turning Paneraii makes more sense me think.

Your help would be very much appreciated. Looking forward to your replies, cheers!

First ,welcome to MWF. Is the IWC yacht club a LE series n which Panerai interest you?? You seems to desire the IWC but reluctant to commit . Both the Iwc yacht club n any Panerai are iconic in design, that make it more difficult to choose. As for me I would go for the Panerai    Just my opinion....fr..tony.

Panerai entry level would be both Luminor base and Radiomir base models.   

Agree with what Tony said, buy what you like!

And as for Audemars Piguet watches, If I were to buy AP, it is definitely AP ROO DIVER!

Hi Mojojojo, The first Pam is always not the last. If you intent to buy again after the first Pam,try considering a Rollie pre-owned sports watch around rm 16k.So you will have 2 top brands around your wrist on rotation.This is just my opinion,pls make your own decision..fr.tony..
