If 1,500 to 2,000 is your budget, i guess ORIS would be a good value for your money

I don't think less than 3k can get an Oris... ???
I think the Oris big crown date entry level is around there n the Ball fireman entry level with SS bracelet is around there too...fr tony..

For RM1500 to RM2000 you can get a very nice Tissot. For the sports model, the Tissot PRS 516 non-chronograph should be within your budget. Take a look at the Le Locle range too. Very nice design. Oris is mostly out of your budget and so is Ball. Maybe can find a pre-owned Oris below 2K.

Probably the lower range of Longines and Ball? Oris has some nice ones...but they are a bit more above the budget.

When I bought my BALL Fireman II, which is a discontinued model the recommended retail price was RM3900. That, as far as I know, was the cheapest BALL around. The salesperson who attended to me said that the lowest RRP for a current entry level BALL watch is above 4K. So, even with the best discount it is still way above your top limit of RM2000. The situation is also the same with ORIS. In my opinion, unless you 3K plus to spend forget this two brands. Look around a few shops on their selection of TISSOTs and SEIKOs and pick one you like. These two brands make good watches that are affordable.

just my own opinion arr...

my own justification would be:

anything below 1,000 get a nice Seiko, Citizen and etc

anything 1,000 to 2,000 get a nice Tissot and etc

anything 2,000 to 3,000 I don't know what to get, stucked.

anything 3,000 to 6,000 get a Tag, Oris, Longines and etc

anything 6,000 to 8,000 get an Omega, Tudor and etc

anything more than 8,000 don't buy anything, continue to save up and buy a Rolex.

rm2-3k can consider epos...hand wind and a decent 5.9mm thick.

epos' aqua terra wannabe.

ball also have their own aqua terra wannabe, but its more than double the price of epos, tho if anyone cares it is cosc spec.

Ball is ok, the Epos looks much nicer in real life...especially the silver dial version.

Choices:
1. Buy a nice Casio G Shock (limited edition if can)
2. Swatch
3. Save more money and come back again
