New watch: Soya Cincau
« on: July 08, 2012, 07:31:32 AM »
Sometimes great thing do comes in simple and affordable price. Just need to spend time look for them.

My version of bang for the buck.

Seiko 5

Even I have watches that's several times the price and prestigious than this. I don't feel less satisfy when I wear this. PROOF that price really have no importance to do with it watch collecting.

Hope all of you found your little treasure in life.

Regards
Tyler

Hi Tyler,
That's a great piece. Congrats.
It looks like a close cousin of the Black Monster, one of my favorite Seikos.

nice black monster… I had one but I was unlucky as mine was running +30 secs/day so I sold it and kept another Seiko military which averages out +30 secs/week for those dodgy travelling places….

This one is no monster. Just a timid beast. :) A normal non sporting sport watch perhaps.

The water resistant level is low.
