What is the best Ladies tool watch?

I have decided to start a new thread, inspired by replies to my last posting.

Seems like many of the guys here "crinch" at the thought of their watches being used or shared by the wife or girlfriends. Often clumsy with their watch, bang here, bum there...or maybe just dont really care about preserving its mint condition. Using it like it should be used and abused in this case.

The modern lady of today will have a career, travels lots, loads of activities from social to family, wears diamonds (sharpest thing in the world) and not forgetting supermarket trolleys, tending to the kids, cooking, etc. Possibly 3 times more activites then the average guy.

So what would be a good tool watch for a lady?

And it'll be interesting to show pictures of their existing beat up watches

My wife do wear my mechanical watches once in a while to office and wedding dinners and her daily tool watch is G-Shock.

see the amount of scratches, dings and bings it has all around the bezel, and those are not hairline scratches. Probably not worth polishing either cost it'll be the same in a short few months.

Kong - I am looking for pre-own 14060 and I would share that with her too. These would be tool watches which look perfectly ok even if abused. But like I said in my other post, the SUB always gets easily pushed down my want-list. So unless I find at a really great price; and specifically looking for the t-dial versions. They are old enough but not exactly vintage, so cross fingers, a good bargain can be found.

The Zenith Openheart would be too dainty for her, Tony. I afriad it will literally be an open heart surgery if she wore that. hahaha.

for someone who is not careful with their watch and if its a lady who is not a WIS, I'd recommend ceramic watches likes Rado, Chanel, Ralph Lauren with the JLC movement or IWC ceramic,…they can bang it as much as they want but better not drop them coz the ceramic case can shatter….

not too heavy, good size, good price and heavy duty.

Why give her something I think it's 2nd best. Watches do get scratch that's life. Just tell her the value of the watch and they will be careful. Honestly I don't think girls are more "rough" than men?   

I think they are clumsy but not stupid. You think they will be clumsy with their RMx,xxx bad or wallet? Think again.

We give them something that we think not important that's why they treat it that way.

my wife knows the value of the Daytona but that doesn't stop her putting dings on it... when asked where she got them, she just takes a hard look at it, scratch her head and say "dunno..."

I feel more comfy with smaller watch or watch tat are same width as my wrist & bracelet that can sized to my small wrist.
