First of all, i don't own this. This is the info...
massive and extremely
rare hand made JAQUET DROZ 18k. white
gold "Les Lunes", number 34 of only 88
watches produced! The automatic winding,
Jaquet Droz Caliber 6553.4 movement is
based on the Frederic Piguet 1150, having
28 jewels and has two separate mainspring
barrels for extra power reserve (72 hours).
This movement is adjusted to 5 positions,
cold and heat. The massive case is hand
crafted in 18K white gold and measures
40.5 mm and is 12 mm. thick including the
crystal. The snow-white, hand crafted
enamel dial has a recessed inner circle,
date chapter on the outer part of the dial,
month and day of the week apertures in
the upper part. The moonphase indicator is
really quite unique, it allows the wearer to
visually witness the phases of the moon in
a retrograde fashion, with the pointer
indicating the correct phase of the moon
over a 29.5 day period. The hands are
blued steel, with the date and moonphase
hands manipulated with the side pushers.
The sapphire, exhibition case back exhibits
the spectacularly crafted JAQUET DROZ
movement.
