Finally got the chance to see the Maitres du temps watch Chapter2 at the exhibition at Starhill yesterday ans was totally blown away!
The level of finishing and attention to detail was just out of this world.
Also its worth mentioning that 3 great watchmakers of our time collaborated to create this model, sorta like MB&F.
They are Peter Speake-Marine, Daniel Roth and Roger Dubuis.

I then sent a msg in Facebook to Mr Steve Holtzman which is the CEO of this company since the marketing exec told me he will be in KL monday. I was just gonna ask to see if there is any meet and greet so i can join in to have a more in depth understanding.

To my surprise Steve replied my msg this morning saying he will be in KL today but leaving this afternoon. Coming back again on Thurs and would be open to have coffee with me!

I guess this is a good chance to have a small GTG with some of out members here and seeing is how rare we have these chances so i am opening to members here.

Venue would be in KL since i think he will be at the exhibition as well.
Time i am targeting 12-2pm but will have to confirm. Maybe we can take longer lunch hahaha

That sounds great, i dont have Danny phone number maybe we can all gather questions as a forum and go do an interview.
Since you are the official "pro" photographer in our group come along la...can have nice pics.
When i handled the watch yesterday it was heavy !

What say you Danny?
Come our represent out forum haha and i will for sure "snake" out longer lunch haha.

I am still getting confirmation from Steve as i think he is now on the way to airport.
I replied him saying either 12-2pm time slot or afternoon tea at Star Hill.

I have received update from Steven, looks like he would prefer Weds night.
Lets get a poll on what time is best for everyone. Its at night so means more ppl is free?

Lets make it 9pm to avoid any rush hour traffic. Venue in or around Pavilion.

Honestly, I'm not familiar with this brand at all :-p

Hi Scott,

This brand only launched few years ago i think, concept is sorta like MB&F where a few watchmakers come together to collaborate to create a watch.

I'm sure he will bring along at least one (i hope) haha, not sure bout the chapter 1 watch though (mono pusher choro, tourbillon and perpetual calender!).
If not 3 pieces are on exhibition at Star Hill.

I really hoping few of us will be able to make it.

This GTG kinda got me by surprise as i just sent a msg to Steven to compliment on the watch and he asked if i was free for coffee.
I think treat this as a "yam cha" session.

As far as attire i think smart casual is fine? as it will be coffee at night.

I propose to meet him at his hotel lobby then maybe proceed to StarHill or Pavilion for drinks.

Like Chiewata mentioned and i think if Danny can join then we can make this like an informal "interview" or chat session.

But would be nice that members of MWF post the questions they want to ask here so i will compile and print out and hopefully get them answered.

As far as what the watches are i think i have posted video up top and you can always go to the website to find out more and then see what you will want to ask.

Chapter 2 retail is RM280k as told by the sales in StarHill.

Hi all,

I am finalizing and double confirming the time with Steven.
I told him 9pm meet at his hotel lobby Ritz Carlton which is just behind JW Marriot.
Once i have news tomorrow or tonite i will post it up.
