in my opinion, the asking prices for pre-owned 16610LV is too much. the hype that they will be collectible in future is just that, hype. personally, i wouldn't pay the extra premium for it. i like it, but enough for me to pay the premium. i'd rather put the money to a newer 116610 or 116610LV with the better bracelet and glidelock clasp.

it is totally depends on how bad you want to own it. Even if it is just the hype, for the owners, they might want to believe that and not selling it. Hence, the demand and supply come into picture. The less owners want to sell, a lot want to buy. Thus, price will be higher.

but agree with dpkong...the newer ones even comes with ceramic bezel...save up for that!

saw this in Starhill last week near closing hour, the sales person was about to keep the watch. Feels like a 5 years old who saw something special

didn't know the price though...but will start saving now
