hi guys,

i'm not sure tis has been discussed b4. shud b interesting to find out...

since most of us have passion & love for different brands, i'm not gonna ask ur 1st rolex, 1st pam etc. instead, i put a pricing
of > RM10k which will more or less cover the mid-high-luxury watch you owned. 

my question is: how old were you when you purchased your 1st  > RM10k watch?

But then again 1 bought 2... if law of averages dictates..then I was 18 when I bought my >10k watch  :Laughing_on_floor:

24 ... ... months of saving until I can get it.

I forgot how old I was but I sure wasn't 24 years old.  :D

i was 28 when i bought my first sub, and yes i was a late bloomer.
the gap from the 1st to the 2nd was also a couple of years, but then after the 3rd or 4th piece, the gaps became so close i rather not say LOL

Are we talking about dollars, euro, ringgit....?

Depends on the denomination of the currency I guess

But again I think question like this is kinda sensitive like earlier said. Just short of asking how much are u earning.

The answer is also subject to the age of the person + inflationary rate. Unless you want to do the survey among forumers in the same age group, you will have answers with huge variations. RM 10k was a lot of money, even 10 years ago. The Rolex submariner 14060M was RM 9,999 in the end of 2001. It was an even bigger sum of money 20 years ago. In 1994 (the year in which I graduated) the Explorer 14270 could be bought for M$ 5.5k ((there was no "RM" then).    ;D ;D ;D

how you all earn money,
i'am 28 this year, still cant manage for the 10K watches, not i cant afford but too many commitment dude,
car, house, parent, wife, life, eat, fuh!!! watch!!!!

hahaha

but my point of view is not the expensive watch, but the 1 with good movement and can attracted me.
now i cant, but in future i'am gone get a Omega Seamaster, wife also no face give tell first

i'm not sure where u coming fr in terms of sensitivity.

i just tot dat it will bring back som good memories for the guys when they made their 1st purchase of high-end watches. dats all... :)
