Good for you, Abel. Not too late to come into some sense. For me, I have culled most of the 'other' make and keep to one " you know what" ......

cheers and keep well.

I am almost a recovered watchaholic, but last checked shows only 70% recovered. How?

From the packaging, definitely ain't vintage.
And not the newer ceramic sub or gmtiic packaging as well.
A young chap like you would not go the route of datejusts...
So, my guess is it's either a 14060M 4 line sub, 16610 Sub date or a 16600 Sea-Dweller.

Yup, i find it so hard to sell those "culled" watch for cash. Managed to sell some of it but most of it its hard to sell even its "well known" brand. Oh well, I learned the hard lesson of collecting watches

dont mean to burst your bubble la..but honestly, you cant stop..now you taste rolex, the next is audemar piguet royal oak. Unless suddenly you just cease to like watches and look at them as 'just a watch', then you can truly stop..i think once you work you will buy again :Laughing_on_floor:

I agree but Hanz we may not truly know what's in these young chaps' mind.

With yellow gold and flashy colors coming back as the next "in" thing.

This is my guess: 2012 Safari Joe Daytona Starlight edition.

I think matching undergarment is available as an option  ;)

p/s I don't judge.  ;D

Style can change to match the watch. Just ask the risti. They will tell you story on how they alter their shirt's sleeves to accompany those 47mm luminor.

It happen all the time, quite common actually.  :)

Goes better with darker skin tone so if you love outdoor activities it's a bonus.

See... Who said bling is out?  ;D

Bad use of bling is out but good matching will always work.

Steven is an inspiration.

Liv remarried? I didn't know that. Last time I spoken to her was about 10 years ago. She wanted to start a family, really into the children thing but I told her that's not how I roll. She cry and then we split up. I should have kept her by my side instead of letting her off with that british idiot.  >:(

Hope you take care of her, man and give her lotsa children.

ps she likes to be tickle on the back of her left ear. ;)

So I think it's the Gay's watch.  :D
Why because it's only sport model that is smaller than the rest.

Oops! I hit the button too quick.

What I mean is the previous Explorer 1, the Gay's watch.

More appropriately the Norgay's watch.

Tenzing Norway, the real explorer.

I will be surprised (but pleasantly surprised) if its true.  A young man choosing the understated Explorer 1 as his grail Rolex.  Whichever, don't forget to share why you make the choice.

I was out of line. I apologize.

Actually back in the 60s the term "gay" actually means gay(happy) not a reference for homosexual.

I was being cheeky... Norgay ... gay? Happy?

Happy watch? You get what I mean ;)

Not a joke aiming at people with small wrist.

I have heard the version of Sir Hilary actually wore a Smith while Norgay spot a Rolex. No one can say for sure.
