Tudor Heritage Black Bay
« on: February 07, 2012, 09:20:02 PM »
Seems like the snowflake reissue is gaining momentum.
Leaked pics looked legit.
And yes, i will be in the market for one if it is priced right.
Cool red bezel and accents near the crown.
41mm case size...

Updated... this model is now called the Tudor Heritage Black Bay. 7th March 2012

Let's see what is there not to like about the watch......

Gilt dial
Snowflake hands
No crown guard
Big crown
Tudor rose logo

A hodge podge of various Tudor Diver watch of old. I don't think so......

not my cup of tea.....
i have this feeling that the red accent on the crown will get easily scratched off and make the watch look jaded really fast.

Erm... not yet released bro...

My view is that yes, this is like a mix and match of Tudor's old dive watches.
Let's see this from another perspective, one that is non purist.
The design seems kinda nice.
Don't see alot of red bezels around.
No crown guard... some might be ok, some not.
The red accents near the crown? Guess it's just a little touch to differentiate itself from other watches.

Red bezels are everywhere.
The part i am worried about is the crown side. How good is the water resistance.

Why is this called Snowflake....sorry for the naive question...

have to see this watch in the flesh when it comes out. Is this the only variant? I am not really feeling that red colour. If it were black then ok.

Questions were asked why is the Bezel in Burgundy and not Black?
Tudor's answer is quite logical.
