A gold plated ORIS mechanical alarm (sounds like the Cricket as in Vulcain and Revue Thommen, an ex-US President's watch)
This is a small diameter round watch 34.5mm with a deep blue face, gold hands and markers with tritium.
Working well with clear buzz

Movement is most probably an Anton Schild 5008 which was the most common alarm movement used for Swiss watches. ORIS introduced this model in 1988 and my watch was bought sometime a few yrs later. I've forgotten the original price but it was amongst the most expensive ORIS models then due to its unique alarm feature which was not so common that time.
JLC obviously is the leader in PREMIUM alarm watches but cost 20 times an ORIS.

Bringing Up My Post since Jan 28.

This mechanical watch alarm is suitable for ladies and guys with small wrists as its only 34.5mm (measured without crown). Sounds like The Cricket by Vulcain/Revue Thommen (President's watch). Amazing condition given its age about 15-20 yrs. No major scratches but only light swirls on the brushed steel part of the back case.

For the price I'm offering, may be the cheapest mechanical alarm wristwatches you can possibly buy. As long as you like the look, this is a bargain. Go check out current prices of ORIS mechanical alarm models which are minimum RM 3K+ nett after discount.

Am selling as its too small for my wrist. Have put on  a lot of weight and size over all those years so now the watch looks ridiculously small.

Looking at RM 1,500.00 or make me a fair offer.

Only watch available.. I bought it new then but misplaced the box n papers over all these years.

Just found out that the current ORIX Artelier Alarms are now retailing at RM 23K less 20% discount..
Don't believe me?.. go check it out at the SS2 shop famous for Seiko JDMs.

Same AS 5008 movement with LJP modification to add an automatic rotor in the otherwise hand wind original movt cased in a 42mm SS casing.

Will still consider realistic offers on case to case basis considering the current new prices…I expect this to be a very special niche buyer…no hurry..will leave this open for a long time...
