i don't get it....?

is this a you and your friends "perceived" association based on your subjective judgments and views or are you looking for "actual" co-branding and collaboration?

there are actual tons of collaboration and co-branding among watch brands and car manufacturers. None of them are in your list as in the order that you've given.

emmmmm Panerai  = BMW

BMW  = Bring More Women, hence Bring More Worries, not true for Panerai. Banyak Masuk Workshop, jadi Banyak Makan Wang = Panerai.... Don't think so....  :) ;D ::)

I think this is a "perception" list as it was discussed among friends at a watch launching dinner, in reality, car brands with actual watch co-branding;

Ferrari= Officine Panerai, Girard Perregaux
Tudor= Porsche
Subaru= Orient

Well the works Mercedes GP has collaboration with Graham. Forgot which issue of IWC has a write up on that. Graham also introduce a few commemorating watches on that front too.

Hi Patek, you and your friends should associate Jaguar with Bremont..not graham, as they did collaborate with jag on the jaguar xj75.. an automatic chronograph beauty that looks good in any car, even in a protong!

Hmmm...Cant find corum on the list there.

After reading this a few times, i finally understand the logic here. This list is more of what is the watch's equivalent standing in the horology world as compared to a car in the automobile world. Hence Rolex = Mercedes Benz as both are well-known and accepted marquee of luxury in their respective world. It is more of a casual list made by friends of their opinions on watches as opposed to actual collaborations by watch companies with car companies.

+1. Interesting list but have to say that I disagree with some of it.

May be you can suggest which car brand to match with Corum.
I already did the changes to match Jaguar with Bremont. Thank you.

chill guys, this list is more of the status of the watch brand in the horology world compared to the status of the car brand in the automotive world. Rolex has always been thought of as the mercedes benz of watches.
As to whether the list is right or wrong, no one can comment as this list is the perception of your friends and yourself. Without any proper evidence from real experts, I cannot contend that you are wrong. Everyone is entitled to their opinions.
